I am very much impressed by success of facebook. It gives a meaning to my internet expenses (paid by company) and boredom of many weekends.
I refresh my facebook page 20 times a day and i am sure there would be many who would be doing it many more times.
I see people updating there fb status, probably lying in there room, with all the creepy and shitty stuff they do. Which has less to do with being social and more to do with being a jerk.
After watching "the social network", i figured that it's what fb intended to be.
It was for all the geeks and freaks of the world who never go out in weekends, will say "I will see if I am free" when you call them to meet even if they have no plans for years, sit in the group laughing at others jokes which they rarely get.
Most of us spend our time sleeping in weekends (saying that it is the only time we get to relax in a week as if we were fighting war otherwise) and then curse our lives. Some post nostalgic videos, status or songs on fb walls.
And there are some who write about it in blog.

Facebook makes time fly by..in the office...I spend 8 hours everyday in the office..and hardly realise it :P...but I love Orkut and miss it :(
